Are you already a classroom teacher or education

professional, like an administrator or graduate student, and

want to know how you can help with NYC Men Teach's efforts?

Apply to become a mentor or ambassador to a group of

incoming first-year NYC Men Teach Anchors.

You can apply to be a mentor, in which you'll create your own long-term sequence of support you would want to provide to your group of anchors throughout the school year. If you are already a teacher at a D.O.E. public school, you are eligible to be paid on a per-session basis for this work. If not teaching at a D.O.E. school, you would be volunteering for this work.

You can also apply to be an ambassador, in which you'll contribute your expertise in providing guidance to first-year anchors on cover letters, resumes, demo lessons, and certification exams. The commitment is four trainings throughout the summer, and planning and facilitating sessions throughout the summer.
